Book 1: Everlasting Spark

Fearing that her village’s ancient magic-fueled mechanisms are on the verge of collapse, Nansli travels to the city where she can study machinism, the mastery of the elements of power. As a Gevlin, she is ridiculed and dismissed for seeking knowledge that has historically been the domain of the Kessers. She persists, however, and gains a small circle of friends and allies to support her efforts. The more obstacles she encounters, the more she recognizes that her struggle is bigger than herself and her village. Her success could pave the way for countless Gevlins — assuming the city doesn’t ban her people from the university before she’s even finished her first year.
